Lanan Ecosse will provide a quality product and service to our customers with dedication and commitment from all our employees, managers, and owners from concept to completion. We are committed to excellence in customer service, quality, and operational efficiency. We will provide solutions without compromising the quality and service our customers have come to expect.

Objective

Our objective has been to provide our client with a fast turnaround on critical components whenever they may be required. In order to achieve this we try to manufacture our product completely in house. From Art straight through all of the processes to shipping.

State of the Art Equipment

Our equipment is considered to be state of the art. Our manufacturing systems and equipment enable us to provide our customers with quantities from the "one-off" required as a special, a spare or a prototype to many thousands in production runs.

A constant replacement and update policy on processes and equipment is followed. Our equipment includes conventional flat bed print benches and both Thieme and Atma semiautomatic presses.

A key element of our system is the unique LanSys computer system that streamlines the control of our operations from receipt of raw materials right through to the shipping, bar-coding and billing of the final product.

Quality

Our Quality System is accredited to ISO-9001:2000 and is the essential core of our internal operating system. More than 75% of our team are approved Quality Auditors and maintain a constant vigilance throughout all of the process operations.

With many of our major clients we have attained, and maintained over several years, a zero reject status on delivered product. With several major clients we have a 100% on time delivery performance and as a result have been the recipient of client performance awards.

Environmental, Health and Safety

The manufacturing operations are in a custom designed factory at Falkirk. This facility was built with the latest requirements of Health and Safety in mind so that our operating environment is friendly to both the environment and our employees. Our Screen Print operations are now almost 100% UV technology.

Services

We have in-house forme cutting platen press facilities and finishing and collating equipment by which we offer clients label and marking sets in a format suitable for supply to the production lines on a schedule basis. With a number of clients we provide production line delivery of collated markings packs on agreed daily schedules.

The majority of our work is produced from customer supplied art or engineering drawings. We are able, however, to offer assistance with the design criteria where this may be required. We produce product markings in a wide range of languages to meet the international needs of our clients. We routinely produce product markings in several European languages.

Our growth has been a reflection of our recognition that we exist to provide added benefit services to out clients. In some instances this has involved our assuming our client's sub-assembly operations to assist them with the out-sourcing non-core activities.
